Samantha Rogers

Housing Director

Sami Rogers has been with Big Sister League since September 2020 and has been serving as the Housing Director since July 2021. Her responsibilities include managing both Redwood and Fourth avenue homes, overseeing the referral/intake process for potential residents and performing outreach within the San Diego community. One of Sami's goals is to provide a secure, comfortable and encouraging environment in which the residents can learn, grow and prosper.

Sami, a native to San Diego county, grew up in the small town of Ramona with big dreams of helping others. Eager to get out and experience the world, she received a BS in Health Science at CSU Long Beach, with an emphasis on community health education. Sami believes that lifelong learning and promoting diversity are essential to tackling disparities.

When she is not dedicating her time to the service of others, Sami can be found listening to live music or soaking up the San Diego sun in whichever way she can!
